Bjorn Thorsen GmbH is the German based affiliate of the privately-owned European distributor Bjørn Thorsen A/S (Headquaters in Copenhagen, Denmark). The company serves customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from the Central European warehouse and local warehouses for flexible logistics and supply security.
Bjørn Thorsen distributes specialty raw materials, such as Thermoplastic Elastomers, Engineering Plastics, Biopolymers, Medical Polymers, Additives & Modifiers as well as Adhesive Solutions.
The company has the largest Thermoplastic Elastomers portfolio for all of Europe, with key brands such as: Santoprene® TPV, Hytrel® TPC and Estane® TPU and own customized TPE compounds (TPV, TPU, TPC, TPO) to fit customers’ needs.
Bjørn Thorsen also distributes adhesive solutions such as Pearlstick™ TPU for solvent based adhesives, Pearlbond™ TPU for Reactive Hot Melts (HMPUR) from Lubrizol.
To answer customers’ specific requirements across a wide variety of industries, Bjørn Thorsen acts as a Solution Provider offering R&D support, Technical and Regulatory guidance as well as tailor-made TPE compounds, powders and liquid formulations with laboratories and production facilities in Denmark and France.
