Customized Compound Solutions
Since 2015, Customized Compound Solutions (CCS) is a brand by Bjørn Thorsen A/S developing alloys, compounds and customized thermoplastic elastomers tailored to customers’ specific needs. Anchored on Bjørn Thorsen’s knowledge of engineered thermoplastic elastomers and established broad market access, CCS aims to be recognized as an innovative and reliable source of customized value-added solutions to various industries in the international plastic world.
Nordic Formulation Technology
Since 2017, Bjørn Thorsen offers various tailored liquid formulations (special coatings, dispersions, additives, etc.) through its affiliated production company Nordic Formulation Technology A/S (NFT). The company is based in Svendborg, Denmark.
Digital Serigraphic Technologies
Since 2020, Digital Serigraphic Technologies (DST), is a brand by Bjørn Thorsen, which combines company’s offering of consumables (PET films, papers, inks and adhesives) for making heat transfers via traditional screenprinting, digital hybrid printing, and DTF for textile decoration.
Acti-Tech™ Compatibilizer
Since 2016, Acti-Tech compatibilizer is a brand by Bjørn Thorsen for developing a unique and proprietary range of superior and functionalized compatibilizers. They are used as impact modifiers of stiff polar engineering thermoplastics, coupling agents enabling higher filler loadings, adhesion promoters on metal and polar substrates, as well as performance booster of recycled feeds, among other purposes.
