We're proud to announce that Bjørn Thorsen A/S has been awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal for our sustainability performance, placing us among the top 15% of companies assessed worldwide. See our EcoVadis recognition.
After two years holding a Bronze Medal, this step up reflects the progress we've made in building a more structured, transparent and ambitious approach to sustainability across our business.
What Has Driven This Progress
This result didn't happen by chance. Over the past year, we have:
- Aligned our sustainability reporting with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
- Conducted a double materiality assessment to identify the impacts, risks and opportunities that matter most
- Developed a comprehensive sustainability strategy built on those insights
- Committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to set credible, science-based climate targets
- Implemented supply chain due diligence to strengthen responsible sourcing across our value chain
A Trusted Partner for Sustainable Solutions
For us, sustainability means being a solution provider for our customers on their pathway to a resource-efficient and net-zero economy, aligned with the goals of the European Green Deal, while upholding our own environmental, social and economic standards and commitments.
This medal is a recognition of our team's dedication, and a reminder of our responsibility to keep raising the bar. We're excited to continue supporting our customers on their sustainability journey as their trusted partner for sustainable solutions.
A big thank you to our colleagues, customers and suppliers who are part of this journey with us.
