Acti-Tech Compatibilizers are PP-based thermoplastic elastomeric maleic-anhydride grafted polymers, produced via efficient melt-grafting processes, resulting in high functionalization with controlled melt flow index (MFI) specifications.
Key properties
- High grafted monomer content. This is what makes it work well as a compatibilizer.
- Adjustable melt flow index (MFI). The MFI can be tuned to get good dispersion in different blends.
- Low free maleic acid. This lowers the risk of degradation during processing.
- High flexibility. It’s compatible with many different materials.

Food-contact approved grade. One grade meets EU 10/2011 and FDA requirements.

Typical applications
- Recycling: it makes mixed polymer streams compatible with each other.
- Wood-plastic composites: it improves adhesion between the wood fibres and the polymer.
