Purging compounds or agents are product formulated specifically to clean thermoplastics molding machines and extruders. They typically contain a base resin and other additives intended to clean the screw, barrel, and extruder die. Purging compounds are furthermore used for color and material changes, removal of color and carbon deposits, as well as cleaning hot runner mold.
Bjørn Thorsen offers highly efficient Ultra Purge™ purging compounds from Chem-Trend developed to match with the materials, machines and operating ranges of plastics processors producing a wide range of end products.
We distribute a wide range of LUSIN® materials from Chem-Trend: cleaners, lubricants, protective agents, release agents and mold maintenance products. They ensure that injection or extrusion machines run at their optimal conditions.
